"Grain of the Sky" is an original hand carved and hand printed woodblock print. It was designed for the album cover of my husband's band Starlite Radio. The album of the same title is their third CD and you can listen on Spotify or iTunes. Light purple, sky blue, and orange inks make up the blendroll background on one block. Grain star outline printed in a deep maroon color from a second wood block. Printed on white thick cotton paper from a hand carved Shina wood block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print.
