Aunt Lucy Flower - woodblock print (8x8")

"Aunt Lucy" is based off of the incredibly small flower of the same name. They are only about 1/4 of an inch. It's a wildflower that is native to Illinois and you'll likely find it in shady spots in the woods in late spring. The little purple lines on the flower petals are just so cute. A happy little flower to make your walls happy.

Printed on white thick cotton paper from one hand carved wood block with the reductive process. Yellow, dusty blue, purple, and blue green inks. Block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print. Each print is unique as they must be printed one at a time, reapplying ink to the block. Slight variations will occur.
