Grain of the Sky FRAMED - multi-woodblock print - Starlite Radio album cover (14x18")

“Grain of the Sky" is an original hand carved and hand printed woodblock print. It was designed for the album cover of my husband's band Starlite Radio. The album of the same title is their third CD and available for download on Spotify.

Light purple, sky blue, and orange inks make up the blendroll background. Grain star outline printed in a deep maroon color. Hand carved on two shina woodblocks which is a type of Linden tree from sustainable forests in Hokkaido, Japan.

Image size is about 8" diameter and is framed in a 14x18" Florentine Silver metal 1" thick frame with white matting and clear plexiglass. Ready to hang with strong wire on back. Title, edition number, artist signature, and year of production appear on front bottom of image on each print. Each print is hand created one at a time - although printed from the same block, there are tiny differences that make each unique.
