"Winter" is a woman portrait to embody the coldest season with icy frozen chunks of hair and little light in the sky. Printed on white thick cotton paper with blue and orange inks from a hand carved Shina wood block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Created by reduction process in 4 layers carved on one woodblock. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print.
